The Story of India

In this landmark six-part series for PBS and the BBC, Michael Wood will embark on a dazzling and exciting journey through today's India, "seeking in the present for clues to her past, and in the past for clues to her future."

The Story of India website features an interactive photo gallery and timeline that weaves together a series of interrelated themes, events, and individuals that helped shape India's history.

Linkages to Other Sites / Blogs

Hello Friends:

Wishing you all a very Happy, Prosperous, Peaceful and Healthy New Year 2009 !!

Over time, I intend to add links to several sites / blogs that present a progressive right wing perspective of India.

As these links will evolve, they will be further compartmentalized by different sujects (Politics, Defense, Finance & Industries, NGOs, etc.) as well as by specific events.

Here is one about India's strategic Interests:

RAMAN'S STRATEGIC ANALYSIS

Please feel free to submit links to more such sites.

Enjoy!!

Welcome Friends

That India is going through a transition, not just in the economic sense, but in the sense of its search for Nationalistic Identity is an understatement.

What I intend to do on this blog is to provide links to articles, blogs, videos and other media that define the "Indian Right". These may be from the established "main stream media" or from the alternate media.

All submissions and comments are welcome.

I will start with just a couple of websites I visit quite often:

http://www.swapan55.com -  This is Swapan Dasgupta's blog.

http://www.covert.co.in - This is MJ Akbar's new newsmagazine with an impressive list of guest writers).  Not all articles here are from the "right" side of the Indian media but MJ Akbar's own articles are worth reading and so are most articles from most of the other contributors.

Enjoy & Welcome again !!
